The powerhouse seen from across Bucyrus St. In the center of the wall, between the four large windows, are the remains of a chute. Hopper cars were set along side the building and were ladened with ash from the boilers through this chute. There is a pit under the chute for unloading the hopper cars to get the coal into the overhead coal bunkers. Also, there are a few remnants of what appears to be the elevator for lifting the coal.
